The Vapor line is built for agility — a tapered fit with a low profile and forward-leaning stance that favors quick turns and explosive acceleration. The Supreme line is built for power — a wider, more anatomical fit with a stiffer boot that maximizes energy transfer on straight-line strides. Bauer previously offered a third line, the Nexus, which provided a classic, high-volume fit for players with wider feet. The Nexus was discontinued after 2018, with its fit profile absorbed into the Supreme line's expanded FIT system (FIT 1, FIT 2, FIT 3). Over the past decade, Bauer's flagship skate price has climbed from $949 (Supreme 1S, 2016) to $1,179 (Vapor FLYLITE, 2025) — a 24% increase driven by advanced composite materials, carbon fiber outsoles, and thermoformable boot technology.
